Notes of the gathering

Program parts:

- We consider the notes with "I want" and "I offer" produced by the Saterday group and make some additions to them. These will be used to create the program for the coming practice groups.

- Break

- Tijmen plays a song he wrote today, accompanies himself on the guitar. The theme of death raises some eyebrows. We are touched by the lyrics and Tijmens singing.

- Norma relates on her work as a CSR manager at a large company. She speaks about the misconceptions idealistic people can have about the corporate world and about her own experiences there. It is great to see her enthousiasm.

- The group splits up in pairs for a quick round of shadow work. Following the 3-2-1 proces we engage in a shadow issues considering money, wealth or related.

- Some announcements are made:

  • Opens internal link in current windowThe CL4S-2011 video material is available online! Find hours of enlightening video!
  • All participants of the practice groups will be invited for the larger Experience Integral community on Gaiaspace
  • Rik is looking for a better PC to do the editing of all the material of last summer's seminar and Barrett's course, suggestions are welcomed.
  • Feb. 11 2012 will be the next Experience Integral Community day! Make sure to safe the date! The theme will be "Conscious Followership 4 Sustainability" (Projections based on leadership trainings calculate a large number of followers will be needed in the near future)
  • Tijmen proposes to initiate a discussion on how the Occupy Wallstreet movement represents a chance for real change. This will be announced on the GaiaSpace.
  • Sven proposes to initiate a group to start actually doing work (consultancy, training, ...). This comes close to an initiative that´s already started (about facilitation by ExpInt.), Sven will come join us there.

Key Learnings:

  • The value of beauty and artistic expression in sustaining ourselves as sustainability agents. We tended to focus on the Good and the True, now we're ready to face Beauty as well.
  • In collaborating with corporate entities we should be prepared and ready to discuss the bottom-line viewpoint of our proposals. In order to be succesful we'll do good to learn to create an orange interface for our initiatives.
